Why do I choose 'Supernatural' for my project?
I have chosen the TV series ‘Supernatural’ season 7 episode 14 for
my Claudia and Quentin
project because I want to present Claudia's
character as a clown. The reason why is
because as she was left alone since she
was small, she has got nobody to play with and
with the use of clown character,
I want to show and portray how her look and costume will
make her feel happier
and fulfill her memories of her childhood.
During Supernatural season 7 episode 14, it is about the protagonist Dean and Sam go to Kansas to investigate the mysterious death of a man. But afterwards, they found out more case which connected to the pizzeria Plucky Pennywhistle's Magical Menagerie. Both of the victims are fathers who bought their children to birthday parties in the pizzeria. Later on, they find out that the children's fear turns into reality and kill their fathers. Sam leaves the pizzeria to protect a mother but then he gets attack by the evil clowns which are his worst childhood fears and nightmares, The clowns characters laugh and also show evil appearances in the episode. I like how at the end they disappear and turn into glitters and confetti.
During the trailer for the episode from Supernatural, it introduces and symbolizes things causing
fear which are bright rainbow colors like red, blue, and green. The reason
they use those colours is because they want
to show the audience the sign of danger and the way how the colours turn into black at the end. Danger related to Claudia’s character as she was scripted
there is always the feeling of danger is just around the corner for her
character and for my designs, I will think about using colours to present and symbolize Claudia's character.
In 'Supernatural', the fight scene of the clowns and Sam take place in a warehouse
and it is dark with light shinning through the windows. It creates an uncanny
and mysterious atmosphere.
The setting for the series was set in United States.
Audience demographics
The target audience of the TV series 'Supernatural' is for people who ranged 18 to 35 years old.

The setting of 'Supernatural' is set in Midwest America which makes the TV series more interesting as it is a place where we are familiar with and know about. It shows the audience that supernatural might exists and hides in reality. It also engages the audience questioning for example, where do angles go when they die? after watching 'Supernatural'.
How can my designs appeal to the audience demographics?
In order to appeal to the audience, I will think about how I should use the style and the makeup to tell the audience the story of the characters. The look will make the story line more interesting as
there are symbolism within the look of Claudia and Quentin.
